I love your blog! I've been reading for about a year now, and I just mentioned you in my latest blog post. Sorry to be spammy(?), but I just got started blogging not too long ago, and I'd love it if you checked it out. prettylittleveggie.wordpress.com. Thanks!
Great recipe! I just recently found this blog and tried this recipe out tonight... good stuff! I will definitely be looking out for more of your recipes.
I make this at least once a week since you posted it and totally love it! I add one chopped chicory btw, that makes it even more delicious! Annemarie from the Netherlans
This was absolutely unreal. I made it for a potluck and everyone went back for seconds. Easy, delicious, and absolutely universally approved. Will make again.
We do not suggest using honey in this or any recipe because honey is an animal product. We use agave in our recipes for its added sweetness. If you cannot find agave in your local grocery store, we suggest date paste, brown sugar, coconut nectar, stevia products, molasses, or even maple syrup. There are also some new syrups on the market, such as barley malt syrup or brown rice syrup.
Peanut butter instead of tahini? It will taste quite different but it just might work. We haven't tried it ourselves but, depending on your tastebuds, it might be a stroke of genius.
I need to say that as a VS fanatic, this recipe has been a huge lifesaver. I always have these ingredients on hand and it's quick, delicious and perfect for a night when we don't feel like cooking!
We read every comment and try to respond to direct questions within a week.
