I just made this as well and I think it's great. It's really cheap for an interesting and different smoothie. Most importantly it tastes good, and it makes enough so I can have it for breakfast and then the rest when I get out of work. This will definitely be a staple, thanks!
Threw three huge spoonfuls of crunchy peanut butter into the blender with the rest of the ingredients, and man was it good! Made it even thicker, especially after refrigerating. Thanks for the fantastic recipe!
this looks sooo yummy! I love the blog, one of the best I've come across: simple and fun! Quick question, is it a cup of cooked oatmeal, or a cup of dried oatmeal cooked (which would be more)? Also do you bother to peel the apple?
This tastes really good and is so filling! It's like a quick version of porridge. I can't wait to try out your other recipes and tell my friends about them, they all seem so easy and tasty :) Good luck with keeping your blog up!
Yum! Instead of cooking the oats, I've also tried soaking the oats overnight in the milk. It makes a very creamy texture, while also keeping your smoothie cold.

Yum! Do you drink it warm or use oats that you've cooked and cooled?
Depends on how hot a day it is!

We used a cup of dried oats cooked and didn't peel the apple.
