Just wanted to say I make a variation inspired by this recipe all the time and my non-vegan, but still a stoner, boyfriend loves it. And so do I (a fellow vegan stoner).

I made this last night with a few variations and it tasted amazing. My ingredients: purple potatoes, sweet potatoes, veganaise, spicy mustard, dijon mustard, dab of honey, tiny bits of cucumber, green onion, spinach, salt, pepper, coriander, thyme, basil, and thinly grated carrot for a bit of sweet. It tastes amazing. But it is based off the basic recipe above, so you can make all kinds of fun variations with whatever munchies you have lying around.

I'm confused - is the spinach raw? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Hi Anonymous,

Yes, we used raw spinach. However, we believe that using cooked spinach would work just as good.
