I have been obsessed with this the second I saw it. Seriously, I've made three batches already. The first and second batch were made with pretzels, brown rice puffs and cashews (don't like peanuts or raisins). The third was just pretzels and rice puffs and some added onion powder.

puffed kamut (Khorasan wheat) would be good too; in leu of puffed rice. high protein content/high mineral concentration, esp. selenium, zinc, magnesium. & has a nutty flavor akin to raw cashews.
